I realize that I am putting together this post rather late and while I originally said that I was going to wait until tomorrow to post it, I felt compelled to get it done. Today was rather long BUT it was completely worth it and I'm excited to talk about why. If you've been following my blog for a while then you've seen the minor changes that I've made to the blog (i.e. domain name, layout, playing around with the idea of a logo design, etc.). Well, things are going to continue to keep developing for the blog and I am really excited about the changes that I'm slowly making to Nai's Visions.

Introducing...my brand new Canon Powershot SX170 IS and  a lovely little tripod to go along with it! I originally began thinking about investing in a quality camera for the blog a few months ago and I decided to purchase a camera in September. But I realized that I truly wanted to take Nai's Visions to the next level a lot sooner than September and I decided that now is the time to do so. As you all know (or not), I'll be attending the Essence Music Festival this year with my family and I plan on featuring street style + more from that weekend. I'm also planning on trying to record a few video segments as well if I'm able to.

In addition to investing in a camera + tripod, I did a little shopping (ha ha ha) and picked up a few nice items.

I almost hate to admit it but Forever21 has become my guilty pleasure again. I'm able to find so many inexpensive pieces that are pretty simple but able to be incorporated into my current wardrobe.

1. Funnel Neck Swing Dress

2. Sweet Floral Lace Bralette

3. Throwback Striped Crop Top

4. Classic Ankle Strap Sandals

The last thing that I picked up today was definitely a spur of the moment decision. I truly didn't have any intentions of buying anymore platform shoes but once I saw these lovely beauties, I KNEW that I had to make this purchase:

These are everything to me! Okay, they are on the list of shoes that I've recently purchased that are everything to me lol. They are completely comfortable and I definitely see myself wearing them in the very near future. They will probably make a debut during the Essence Music Festival...if I haven't purchased another pair of shoes lol. The above platforms are made by BCBGeneration and again, they are beautiful!

Be sure to stay tuned over the next few weeks because I have so much in store for you all! Until next time, take care and be sure to enjoy Father's Day tomorrow with your loved ones!
