Good morning everyone! I'm posting this a later because Saturday was packed with nonstop adventures. Before I jump into yesterday's festivities I want to mention the fact that I had all of my wisdom teeth removed Friday afternoon. I was confined to my bed for most of that day and to be 100% honest, I was supposed to be in bed all weekend. The thing about that is the simple fact of me hating being sick or confined to one spot for a long period of time. My sister, grandmother and youngest nephew came to visit Atlanta this weekend so I couldn't allow myself to be in bed all day while they were out enjoying themselves. I wanted to have fun too!

Because I can only eat soup for the time being, my family and I headed to Panera Bread for lunch before we headed to the Yellow River Game Ranch

Bistro French Onion Soup

This soup was absolutely delicious! I may have to visit Panera Bread again for another bowl!

The Yellow River Game Ranch was definitely an adventure to remember. It is home to a plethora of birds and other animals who happen to be very people friendly. It also happens to be a petting/feeding zoo where you can either pet the animals or feed them! I admit that I was a little leery about allowing an animal to eat out of my hands but I quickly warmed up as I continued to walk the trail. Below you'll find a few pictures that I was able to capture along the trail:

Later on my mom, sister and I headed to the mall for a bit of shopping. Overall I had a great time yesterday but I definitely paid for being out and about instead of remaining on bed rest! If you have any kind of surgery, don't try to take on more than your body can handle. Trust me!

Other than that, I hope that you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! See you in a few days!
