I've been trying to keep up with so much that I've been more interested in throwing on slacks and a top that is deemed appropriate for work. Anyone who is associated with me knows that that isn't like me at all. What I chose to wear yesterday was my first attempt at feeling like myself again.

With this look, I felt like wearing either a dress or skirt despite it being cold outside. I knew that I'd have to make up for a bit of my legs being exposed so I opted to wear my black overcoat that I picked up at GoodWill. I'm not sure if you can tell but this coat is insulated to perfection! I was the warmest I've ever been while wearing a coat in cold weather and that says a lot to me. As far as the other elements of this look are concerned, I went for overall neutral tones that were balanced by the statement print on my favorite pair of Steve Madden pumps. Seriously, I need to invest in another pair ASAP.

Also, I'm not sure why I never paid attention to the full detail of this coat but the structure is so amazing! I ended up using it as a blanket while at work lol.

This look was fun while it lasted but I'm pretty sure that I'll be back to my 'adopted' style for the next couple of weeks.

I know that I keep mentioning this every so often but please be sure to stay tuned next weekend because I have a surprise for you. I can't wait to share what I've been up to :)
