Happy Sunday! I wanted to end or begin, however you want to look at it, the week on a much lighter note than my last post. If you missed it, I pretty much gave my opinion on marriage equality.
ANY WHO lol, I decided to venture out earlier today due to the fact that I've been cooped up in the house since Friday afternoon. Friday morning was spent in a hair salon because life circumstances have called for me to employ the use of protective styling again. I'm not sure if I spoke on this or not but in a few days, July 9th, I have to have a medical procedure done so I'll be pretty much out of it from Thursday until Sunday. Although the procedure is pretty common in women, I know how I handle pain and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be uncomfortable for a little while. Ironically, the title of today's post reminds me of the procedure in a twisted way. Rest assured, I didn't name today's post 'Crimson Tide' because of my medical issues lol. On to today's look:

I wanted to stick to a pretty minimalistic look today so I opted for a black and white palette with splashes of crimson. Shades of red used to be my favorite color so I thought it would be fun to break out my trusted fedora and my faux fur clutch from She The Collection (see similar here). I'm really loving sleeveless vests right now so I couldn't resist buying this belted white one from Missguided. As for the rest of my look, I picked up this simple jumper from Banana Republic while in Tallahassee (Florida) for $10 and decided to pair it with grid print shorts I purchased from Forever21. I dare say that this look will be among my recap of my favorite personal style looks for this year.

As always, thank you for your continued support and I'll see you soon!
