*Insert dramatic drumroll*

a new DSLR I've been eyeing for the past month. Although blogging started off as a hobby, and still is in a way, my entire goal this year was to put more effort into it. I know some people followed me specifically for my lifestyle posts but I wanted to take a break from talking about different aspects of my life and my struggles, aside from being candid about my anxiety and inflammation issues. I wanted to actually live my life this year instead of documenting everything that happened and slow down enough to smell the proverbial roses.

Although I don't plan on sharing an end of the year post, I can't help but say how this year ended up making me excited about life again. I know some downright ludicrous events took place (*side eye*) but the more I take time to appreciate the great things in life, even the simple things, the more I realize how blessed I am...the more I realize that life is more than capable of being beautiful. I still believe in the goodness of people. I still believe in love. I still believe in chasing your dreams and making them work once you get them. I still believe that it's never too late to live your best life. With all of the different things we face on a daily basis, why not? 😉💖
