When it comes down to anything popular and trendy, it usually takes me a while to decide if I honestly like something. While I'm not one of those people who loves to talk about how they don't follow trends multiple times a year, I still like to make sure I'm not being swayed by anyone's opinion(s) when buying anything. The funny thing about that is this particular trend has been pretty hard to ignore. I mean it's everywhere, as in I can't scroll down my Instagram feed without seeing it more than a few times. But it doesn't bother me. In fact the more I saw it, the more I began to see it was something that could be worn with anything. I don't know about you but if I'm going to buy something, I want my money's worth aka I need to be able to wear it as many times as I please.

I can't remember when I first started to notice people wearing bamboo bags again but other people caught on very quickly to the idea that it was fashion's latest "it" bag. Sure we have the unforgettable Gucci handbags that are being worn frequently (one day I will join the Gucci ranks) but this simple handbag is definitely holding its own. Let's just go ahead and call the brand of this bag by it's name.  Cult Gaia. It has been taking the industry by storm and I'm not mad at that.
More than several bloggers, influencers and industry professionals have been sporting this clever handbag. It's compact, crafted beautifully and, again, pairs well with just about anything. I actually expected the handbags to cost a lot more than they did but, to my surprise, they are within a payable range. Now I'm not saying dropping over $100 on anything is exactly inexpensive BUT if you're willing to splurge a little and can afford it, this handbag definitely falls into that category. Think of it as a smart purchase. Sometimes you have to pay a little more for quality but this doesn't always mean you have to drop thousands of dollars on one item. Yes, this is coming from the woman who just said she wants a Gucci handbag...but don't ever feel pressured to spend a certain amount. If you're going to buy something then make sure it's because you actually want to spend your hard earned money. Bills and student loans are real y'all.
